As a non-profit organisation, we prioritise children’s well-being and believe in fostering a positive attitude towards learning. Additionally, our expansive outdoor play zone encourages physical activity and exploration.

Our Curriculum Goals

To be independent in self-care – dressing/undressing/toileting/eating
To understand the value of numbers and 2D shapes and be able to clever count objects in everyday life
To be confident when talking about and investigating the world and community around us using descriptive and questioning language
To be able to confidently manipulate objects with control to achieve a goal
To listen to and re-tell a story, understanding how books work
To be able to form and retain friendships, interacting confidently with others

About Castle Hill Pre-school

Castle Hill Pre-School is an independent, committee-run, charity pre-school operating in the grounds of Fort Hill Site. We accept all 2-4 year old children , including fee paying children and children eligible for :

1. HCC’s Early Years’ Education universal funding (EYE 15 hours funding for all 3 and 4 year olds).
2. HCC’s additional 15 hours EYE funding (these two combine to total 30 hours funded).
3. HCC’s Early Years Education 15 hours funding for 2 year olds.
